I had the privilege of meeting these two earlier in the year when we had a lovely chat about wedding packages. They were both so laidback and easy-going! Fast forward to June 22, 2019, where they tied the knot before special family and friends. It was a beautiful day, yet a tad windy (!), as the ceremony was moved to the front yard.
This was absolutely the most relaxed wedding I have ever photographed. The day started when I met Jewel at the Dykstra farm after her hair and makeup was done in Medicine Hat. She casually wrote a note and slipped into her dress with the help of bridesmaid Eva. She was also very patient as I left to take photos of her soon-to-be husband, and organize for the "sneak peek". The sneak peek was so very sweet and led into a short visiting time with family before the wedding.
A meaningful message was delivered from Pastor Roger, and we headed over near the tent for family photos. Everyone was so relaxed and fun, and we all had time to visit and enjoy their refreshments before Brenton and I whisked the happy couple away. Thank you Jewel and Steven for joining us on adventures in the coulees and in the scratchy grass, and for making the day very enjoyable. The evening concluded with a delicious dinner - served to us at the table on Jewel's own beautiful china!! Heartfelt speeches from many family members rounded out the night.
You are truly so blessed to have found one another. Thank you for letting us be a part of your special day :) Enjoy the sneak peek of photos!!
