When Gail and I talked about doing some family photos we weren't quite sure where. Then I threw out, "how about a farm day getaway??". So Mama Clark, her daughters and the two cuties trekked out near Burdett for a fun-filled afternoon. We started with a tasty chicken lunch with garden potatoes, corn, salad, and even fresh homemade buns care of Nunu (...spelling??!) !
We then ventured around the farm, props and blankets in hand, taking portraits along the way. We even said hi to our little calf Skunky. The kids were only a teeny bit afraid... Then it was on to the 'playground' in the front yard to continue taking in the beautiful fall day (the kids reward for taking sooo many photos haha). We really were blessed with a perfect day, sans the wind gusts, and it just seemed right to stay outside. Oh wait, until I mentioned ice cream cones!
Days like these are why I love photographing my good friends and their families :)
Thanks for the lovely Saturday, and I hope you enjoy this sneak peak.
