***Hey all! Just writing to say that sessions haven't been posted on here for quite some time...Yet business has definitely been busy! I found this platform doesn't correspond well with Android users, and as such, have not made current blog posts. Rest assured I am looking at ways to change/keep things more updated in the near future! Until then, please browse my past work, and know that cayleypaigephotography is every much still in business ;) ***

Introducing Kayla Phillips, the stunner. Wowza. A beautiful, effortless smile, much like the rest of her fam! This was such a fun shoot on grad day before all the festivities. They didn't even seem like they were breaking a sweat, unlike their photographer in that sun haha. Congrats Kayla on your graduation and although we didn't get to see you in all your sporting glory this year, SO excited for everything your future has to offer! I should call this grad shoot "Chasing Daylight".... After hair and makeup and a couple outfit changes, we were racing to keep that light and also get some epic golden hour shots. Good thing Adriana is an athlete, even if a hurt knee, 'cause we were running ;) Pleased to say that we got it! It was so much fun doing these photos with A as I've seen so much growth in her up to this point in her life. Enjoy these sneak peeks of this girl on fire. Enter Erin Stelmaschuk-Biegel and her beautiful (expanded!) art studio. Our oldest daughter Kennedy has been taking art classes with Erin for a few years now off and on, so this felt like a natural fit! Erin asked if I would take some pics of her newly finished commissioned art piece and I was all for it! I haven't done a portrait session like this in a long time and this was really fun! Enjoy these pics of this amazing artist, and also, check her out for all your art and art education needs! Hello all!! Well, it sure has been a while since I posted anything new - the last half of 2020 held many more photo shoots, and it also had us welcome new baby Bree to our family! Least to say, photographing, editing, delivering images, and adding a newborn left me little to no time to post about it! Here is a small intimate wedding I had the privilege to photograph out here in the country in March. What a beautiful couple and a relaxed afternoon. Thank you for letting me capture this first part of your marriage story. You'll be seeing more of me as family and grad bookings are filling up for the summer! Guys, that pre-storm light!! (Also a bit of post-storm light haha). We were watching the radar for the evening and were able to get started a bit early for this multi-family shoot. It resulted in such beautiful lighting and moody skies! Although it sprinkled on us a bit, the fam was able to take cover in the old farmhouse, while I was happy to be cooling off in the rain haha (8 months pregnant...). This crew had such an ease about them, a go-with-the flow kind of session. Thank you for your smiles and easy-going natures! And the homemade jam! Enjoy this sneak peek Mastel and Weatherhead/Simon family :) Meet the Roedas! Mom Brittany contacted me a while back, hoping to take advantage of the yellow mustard fields in bloom...while I was a bit booked up then, we were still able to take advantage of the yellow canola fields a little later! It was hot (notice a theme this summer ;P ) and we fought the mosquitoes, but had a great time with this family. A few days before their wedding anniversary, too! Thanks for the evening, and for bringing out pup Juni as well! Well this was fun! Laura contacted me about getting some 'post-wedding' family photos taken as Oma couldn't be there when Emily and Johannes were married in April (this COVID thing...). So they all got dressed up in their wedding attire, and we headed out to their dryland lookout, which was breathtaking. What a sweet spot! We did some casual family pics after as well - this fam is just so relaxed and fun! Thanks for the evening, Gross family! Lots of fun with this fam! They were looking for some 'green' this year compared to last year's fall photos, and we found it! They took me out to a spot on their land that had so many mini-locations to offer. Thanks for fighting the bugs and the heat Robertson crew! Here is another family that I have enjoyed photographing over the years; new babes in this one! With being away from one another through this whole COVID time, the littles really have grown! Grateful to capture these proud grandparents with their beautiful grandchildren. Thanks for hanging out on this cookin' hot day! |
